Mechanical Design Engineer - Surrey
To develop the concept design for upgrade and new build projects and prepare all drawings for construction as required for the project. To maintain in-house design standards; assist with research and development projects; Company QA Policy; and compilation of Project Data Manual. Attendance for Offshore installation activities is also a requirement.
Design in 3D using Solidworks CAD software and create detail drawings to allow manufacture of any product required
Responsible for document/design control
To liaise with external fabricators and suppliers to solve any problems that may arise during manufacture.
Checking of drawings that have been created by either personnel or external companies to ensure that they are fit for purpose and have the relevant information to allow manufacture.
Conduct trial assemblies of the finished components at the companies premises and liaise with 3rd party inspectors and or the client to witness final inspection.

Optimisation of oil and gas production facilities primarily separation and produced water systems.
Performance and verification testing of process equipment.
Fluids characterisation and droplet/solids mapping on production facilities
Technology Development
