Mechanical Engineer - Cambridgeshire
To help develop a range of scientific instruments. The role will encompass robotics, opto-mechanical design and small injection mouldings.
Due to increasing expansion of the business we have a position available for a Mechanical Engineer to work in R&D to us develop and extend new generations of award winning spectrophotometers, amino acid analysers, microplate readers and other scientific instrumentation for the Life Sciences market.
The role offers a wide variety of activities, from robotics, opto-mechanical assemblies through to injection moulding.
Experience in DFMA will be a strong advantage.
Suitable candidates will have a Mechanical Engineering degree or similar qualification or experience.
The successful candidate should have a background in instrumentation and design, and be used to dealing with and managing external resources. Significant experience at least some of the relevant fields would be expected.
The salary will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate appointed
