This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanical engineer to join a Global Food and Drink company.
Job Summary
As an experienced and creative Mechanical Engineer you will be challenged to develop and manage innovative design solutions through all phases of the design process to volume manufacture. As well as the day to day management of contract design engineers and the responsibility of delivering equipment that fully meets customer & business requirements you will be the key interface with suppliers & sub-contractors. Your role will combine engineering professionalism with the management skills necessary to achieve results through others.
Requirements:
A desire to learn and grow
Sound technical, engineering and manufacturing understanding.
A Mechanical Engineering track record in the design of mechatronic products, including plastic injection mouldings
Competency in 3D mechanical CAD, ideally Solidworks.
Experience of working with OEM's
Demonstrable skill in identifying the needs of the customer and delivery against their expectations
Ability to build collaborative relationships with external partners
