Description
What the role will involve:
•The project is working on a continuous mining machine for a copper mine in Mexico.
•Will be working with a project leader working on machine design.
•Contractor will be working to create manufacturing drawings in AutoCAD.
•Will be working on heavy fabrications, some castings, etc.
•Problem solving using hands on practical knowledge.
•Ability to understand customers needs.
Mechanical Draughtsman - £20 per hour 3 month contract min
This company design and build special purpose machinery for a number of industries including the construction and quarrying sectors. Over the last 2 years, this business has rapidly expanded and as a result their turnover has doubled from £7m to £14m. Following this growth, the company need to satisfy a specific peak in business. Two mechanical draughtsman are required to start immediately to ensure that these projects are delivered on time and to budget.
