Description
What the role will involve:
•AutoCAD 2D draughting of plant layout systems including conveyors and special purpose machinery.
•Line drawings incorporating balustrades, handrails, structural steelwork.
•Routing of the layouts through HVAC, piping etc.
•Problem solving using hands on practical knowledge.
•Attending meetings & client liaison.
•Visit to customer sites to carry out site surveys.
•Building relationships with customers
•Ability to understand customers needs.
Mechanical Draughtsman - £20 per hour 6 month contract min
The company are a research and development company who design bespoke conveyor systems. They are specialists within the field of nuclear and aviation solutions. The group itself started nearly 50 years ago and they take on projects worth up to £35 million. They are looking to maintain growth through the development of existing relationships and taking on new contracts.
