The design role is working on existing product and re-engineering these products for bespoke requirements. The product is a mechanical hydraulic component which is used in a safety critical industry and therefore the working standards are extremely high. The team environment is very good and there is lots of support for the right individual to train in this industry. The role also may involve some overseas travel.
The mechanical designer will have experience of designing mechanical machined parts and hydraulics for precision engineering. The engineer will have a good understanding of the manufacturing process as well as design skills. The main CAD package is AutoCAD and the right individual will need to be skilled in the use of AutoCAD.
The role is working for a very successful manufacturer of hydraulic components. This company are the market leader in their field and work for many blue chip worldwide clients.
