Mechanical Design Team Leader -Enclosure Design - Surrey
Snr Mechanical Product Design Engineer with Enclosure design sought by a Stock Market listed company that has been growing consistently over the last 5 years. They are currently looking for a Snr Mechanical Product Design Engineer to work in their thriving R&D facility in Surrey delivering world class, state-of-the-art products. You must be qualified to degree level with experience of mechanical / electromechanical enclosure design.
They are currently using Solidworks, but will consider applications from candidates with SolidEdge or ProEngineer. Any knowledge of Thermal modelling, FEA, DFM, DFA, Liaison with far eastern manufacturers, Vibration & shock isolation, or Wiring loom design would be an advantage.
The role is to design & take to volume production robust, thermally stable products in elegantly designed enclosures.
Career progression to Mechanical Team Leader a possibility for the right candidate.
