Mechanical Design Engineer - Building Services - Glasgow
The Role:
Our client is a global multi-discipline design and engineering consultancy. Employing over 30 staff in the Glasgow office, this company provides innovative but appropriate building design solutions for clients in the Leisure, Education, Power, Healthcare, Commercial and Industrial sectors. With such a breadth of experience and variety of projects this client can offer you the career structure, progression and support you require.
The Company:
Due to their continued success and growth this client are currently looking for a MECHANCIAL BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEER to be part of their Glasgow team. You will be involved on a range on local and national new build and refurbishment projects, where your main responsibilities will be:
Undertaking Electrical Building Service Design and Design Calculations,
Preparing drawings for drafters within the team,
Undertaking site surveys and inspections, and
Technical report writing.
The Requirements:
The ideal candidate will already have some Mechanical design experience in the building services industry and be now looking to take on extra responsibility and project management experience. You should also have:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering,
2 years post degree experience as a Mechanical Building Services Engineer,
Possess the ability to undertake designs across a variety of projects, and
Be able to write good quality reports and computer literate.
The Benefits:
£22K to £32K basic salary dependent on experience,
34 days holiday,
35 hour working week with paid overtime,
