Our client are industry leaders in electrical and systems engineering. Withing their electrical machines business based in Warwickshire, engineers are recquired with a background in mechanical engineering for the role of: Senior Design Engineer. You will develop concepts within rotating machinery design including the selection of equipment including gearboxes, couplings and lubrication systems.

Our client is an industry leader in electrical & systems engineering, integration and the design and manufacture of high power motors, generators, variable speed drives and drive systems. A worldwide team of over 3000 employees supplying 3 core markets: Marine & Offshore, Oil & Gas and Process Industries.

Within their Electrical Machines business based in Warwickshire, engineers are required with an extensive background in mechanical engineering in the role of;

Senior Design Engineers

To develop innovative concepts within rotating machinery design including the selection of equipment including gearboxes, couplings and lubrication systems. A strong capability in stress analysis together with the use of Finite Element Analysis is highly desirable. Any expertise in rotor dynamics, fluid dynamics and heat transfer including the use of CFD is ideal, but not essential.

To succeed in this role you will need to be a dedicated team player with a high standard of communication, planning and presentation skills. In addition, strong commercial ability and a pro-active decisive approach are essential.
