Our client is a QS9000-TE & BSEN-ISO9001/2000 certified company, who for 30 years has been a leading supplier of Leak Test and Automatic Assembly equipment to the European Automotive and Mass Production industries. At their plant in Essex they have a manufacturing facility from where they service the UK and global markets with British designed and built machines whose scope encompasses many areas of the test, assembly and final validation processes.
Mechanical Design Engineer
To £30k + OT + Pension

Our client is a QS9000-TE & BSEN-ISO9001/2000 certified company, who for 30 years has been a leading supplier of Leak Test and Automatic Assembly equipment to the European Automotive and Mass Production industries. At their plant in Essex they have a manufacturing facility from where they service the UK and global markets with British designed and built machines whose scope encompasses many areas of the test, assembly and final validation processes.
Immediately they require a Mechanical Design Engineer to provide all necessary mechanical support needed in order to design and develop the companys products.
Principal responsibilities are:
•Use of the latest 3D and 2D CAD software, producing total mechanical design solution
•Obtain quotes and communicate with suppliers on technical issues
•Liaise with various departments within the company
•Represent the company on project related matters
•Answer queries during manufacture, build and installation
•Prepare and maintain documentation and records to a Quality Operating System
•Create time sheet on a weekly basis
In return my client offers a basic salary of up to £30,000 + OT + Pension Scheme + Death in service insurance.
