Mechanical Design Engineer - Solidworks
You will be designing steam turbines up to 40 MW, API618 reciprocating gas compressors, CHP systems, special purpose machinery together with a wide range of after market services for most types of rotating and reciprocating machinery.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will design power transmission systems for renewable projects. This will include the designing rotating equipment and preparing detailed specifications to enable the systems to be manufactured.
You will need to have:
- an HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- expertise in CFD/FEA with a preferred knowledge of SolidWorks
- proven design background
- expertise in the design and thorough knowledge of rotating equipment
- good team player with the ability to identify and solve potential issues
You will have extensive travel in the UK and occasional travel internationally,
