Description
The ideal candidate will be qualified to a minimum HND level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
Previous experience in a design/manufacturing background and working knowledge of fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics and lifting equipment design as well as training or actual work experience using AutoCAD Release 2008 and/or Inventor or Solid Works.

The kind of work they will be undertaking will be:
Producing engineering designs and associated engineering documents (such as drawings, calculations, reports) and ensuring they are completed within the required timescales.
Issuing engineering documents as required.
Progressing small and medium sized engineering projects, as allocated by the Engineering Manager, or working as part of a team on larger projects.
Carrying out project work, including all aspects of the design process such as draughting and testing of products, as deemed appropriate by the Engineering Manager.
