Our prestigious client, a market leader in design and manufacture of products applicable to materials research, life sciences and quality assurance are looking to expand their current engineering team.
A vacancy has arisen for a MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER with experience using SOLIDWORKS. (essential)
You will have a firm understanding of PRECISON ENGINEERING ideally accompanied with an appreciation for GEOMETRIC TOLERANCES, VACUMS and the principles behind them, designing for manufacture.
You will also source and select components looking to derive cost effective methods of bringing the product into manufacture, working in a high value low volume environment.
Electronic packaging experience would be advantageous along with SAP to liaise with production staff.
