Description
Design Engineer required. Ideally with experience of Solidworks and medium to heavy engineering.
Our Client in Doncaster requires a Design Engineer. Key tasks and responsibilities are as follows:
-To produce mechanical generally arrangement and detail drawings.
-To prepare bills of materials and parts lists for manufacture.
-To carry out mechanical and process design calculations.
-To be involved in the design and development of new products.
-To provide technical support to the commissioning team during plant start-ups and to take a lead when required with technical problem solving
Successful candidates will be able to create mechanical engineering designs, drawings and documentation. you will also be creative with the ability to innovate.
Reporting directly to the Principal Engineer you will be responsible for supervision of contract engineers and drafting personnel.
You will ideally be qualified to ONC/HNC qualified or equvalent in a engineering discipline.
