With growing overseas sales and an expanding order book this hydraulic machinery specialist are paving the way for future success. Due to market trends their products are receiving heavy amounts of enquiries and they expect a turnover of £14 million for 2008.
The Role
A key requirement has arisen for a mechanical design engineer to manage projects for a vital Chinese customer. You will be given the remit of a machine requirement from the proposals team before creating the concept of how the machinery design will come together. The company currently use 2D CAD and there is a possibility for them to progress to Solidworks later this year which you will be fully supported through.
The Candidate
The business seeks to meet a motivated 2D or 3D design engineer with a passion for delivering results and managing relationships with customers. The company really want to find someone who loves design and bringing concepts to completion. Long term prospects could see you take on lead project responsibility or even management positions.
