My client is a market-leader in the design, manufacture and installation of surveillance and security products that protect people and information worldwide. They are currently seeking a mechanical design engineer on a permanent basis to join their already well established design team to head up and lead design concepts through from concept onto manufacture and installation.
The mechanical design engineer my client is seeking will preferably be educated to a degree level in an engineering discipline. You will be involved with liaising with the electrical design team, the manufacturing team and some client liaison so my client would preferably like to see experience of dealing in these processes. A strong mechanical design of solutions for mechanical enclosures and casings including sheet metal, machined and cast. The CAD package used by my client is Inventor so having used this CAD package as a mechanical design engineer is highly desirable.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical design engineer to join a well established engineering company at the forefront of technology. As a mechanical design engineer you will be given responsibilities which will deliver career progression to a senior mechanical design engineer and forwards.
My client is offering a salary in the region of £30,000 - £38,000 per annum along with a generous package.
