This Engineering Company based in Oxfordshire has an opening for a Mechanical Design Engineer. You should be qualified to degree level or similar and have relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. You will need good engineering skills obtained within a special purpose machine environment and should have experience of stress analysis (hand calculations / Cosmos Design / Mathcad. You will be involved in projects from conception to completion ensuring a smooth passage into production.
Other definite pluses would be experience of some or any of the following: hydraulics, aluminium extrusions, automotive electrics or sheet metal fabrications.
