Our Essex based client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to to join their Mechanical & Production team, as the ideal candiate you will be Qualified and have Time Served Engineer or Experienced Graduate Engineer .
Our Essex based client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to to join their Mechanical & Production team, as the ideal candiate you will be Qualified and have Time Served Engineer or Experienced Graduate Engineer .
As the ideal candidate you responsibilitys will include;
"Mechanical system design - static and dynamic including bearings and seals.
"Knowledge of FEA and design optimisation
"An appreciation of the requirements of the Automotive Industry with regards to
APQP, Quality Documentation (FMEAs etc.)
"Drafting skills - producing accurate drawings, GA's & technical instructions
"Design for low & high volume manufacture.
"Design of moulded components - intricate plastic & metal cast
"Design of sheet metal components
"Design of turned components
" Knowledge of CAD systems, (Current CAD system SolidWorks)
"3D modelling
"Working knowledge of Microsoft products including: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project
