Our client is a highly regarded engineering company providing, design, engineering, and technical support services for the marine, oil and gas, transp

rt, defence and utilities sectors. They currently seek a Mechanical Design Draughtsman capable of developing basic system design to detailed design for production and installation utilising 2D and 3D CAD packages. Responsibilities: Development of basic system design P and IDs to detail design in either a 2D or 3D environment iaw relevant specifications and design intent Development of 2D manufacture and installation drawings for use in a production environment iaw relevant specifications and design intent Liasing with Professional Engineers in the production of system development. Production of technical documents and reports On site surveys in support of the development of detail system design. Production of material take-offs Task performance against budget and schedule and reporting progress to relevant leader or manager Key Attributes: Practical marine engineering system design experience Appreciation of shipyard system production and installation processes Ability to work effectively in a team Work off site at clients premises, both in the UK and overseas Drive and commitment Good communication skills Qualifications: HNC preferred or as a minimum ONC in the relevant engineering discipline
