Mechanical Design - Printer, Copier or machine engineering background . 3D CAD literate, preferably SDRC I-deas, and FMEA

Delivering Mechanical System solutions individually or leading a Design team of 1 - 5 engineers
You will have 8 years minimum experience in a related area and typically 3 years in a senior engineering role
BSc in a related discipline, equivalent qualification or experience level Chartered Membership of Institute of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent or progress towards it is highly desirable

Knowledge and experience of some or all of the following areas:
Optical-Mechanical design
Automated and precision positioned media handling and loading systems
Precision mechanisms
Drive systems
Structural design and analysis
Fabricated structures
Plastic mouldings
Design for manufacture and assembly techniques
Value engineering
Reliability testing
Experiment design
3D CAD literate, preferably SDRC I-deas
Experience of product development from concept through to manufacture.
PC literate including use of MS Office is desirable
