Our large Defence Client is looking for 2 x experienced Mechanical Calibration Engineers - MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES 1 Responsible for the calibration of

quipment in laboratory and provision of calibration data sheets and draft certificates .Handling technical enquires receive and dispatch work as and when necessary and help to maintain optimum efficiency of the laboratory 2. Participate and undertake audits within the calibration department to relevant quality systems and operational requirements as directed. 3. Ensure that mandatory or legislative health and safety aspects of the work are implemented and observed at all times. 4 To undertake calibrations properly and safely to the correct procedures, instructions and specifications. Maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner as appropriate. 5. Endeavour to ensure completion of all work is completed in an efficient manner and target dates are met, deliverables made as directed or appropriate. 6. Ensure that all calibrations conform in all aspects to the appropriate requirements, i.e. measurement, traceability, manufacturers specification, accuracy standard or operational requirements or relevant procedures. Occasionally you may be required to perform other tasks which are not included in the above description, but are within the capabilities of the individual and where necessary training will be given. Any successful candidates will need to undergo a form of security clearance!
