Description
Based with a long established market leader in the design and manufacture of fabricated products you will be responsible for the production of 2D / 3D general arrangement and detail drawings.
Based with a long established market leader in the design and manufacture of fabricated products you will be responsible for the production of 2D / 3D general arrangement and detail drawings.
You will be qualified to HNC standard or equivalent, and be a competent user of CAD software, ideally Solid Edge, however full training will be given if required.
General duties will include:
* To produce all detail and arrangement drawings required by the company in a timely manner.
* To achieve or improve the deadlines established for each project.
* To communicate with other departments and derive the most cost effective method of manufacture, before commencement of draughting.
* To register and issue drawings in line with the company standards.
* Ensure all draughting is carried out in accordance with the relevant British Standards and the current company standard.
* Visit site and client as necessary.
