Our client has a wealth of experience to Logistics through their team of materials handling professionals, providing everything from preliminary design through system build to operation and maintenance, due to organic growth they wish to recruit Mechanical CAD Engineers to work in the Airport Projects Engineering team that produces state of the art mechanical handling equipment.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for generating design schemes and layouts through to manufacturing details and parts lists, liaising with customers and sub-contractors at all levels, site surveys, team leadership, project engineering and cost control and reporting. It is essential that you hold a relevant mechanical engineering qualification, have a working knowledge of AutoCAD, and have previous experience in conveyor systems in manufacturing, process or mechanical handling environments.
The position is base in Leicestershire, however time spent at UK's client sites will be required during all stages of the projects, from definition stages to system handover. In return my client offers a basic salary of up to £32,000, company pension scheme and health care service after qualifying period.
