Description
Mechanical/ Analysis Engineer is required, must be pro efficient with knowledge of stress analysis using ANSYS at a professional level with 3 8 years experience. A background in automotive, oil and gas industry would be beneficial along with some of the following Stress Analysis, Thermal Analysis, Nonlinear Analysis, Vibrational Analysis.
Working within the mechanical design team you will be involved with the detailed mechanical and structural design of gas turbine air intake filtration systems and gas systems and associated acoustic components and packages.
The responsibilities for this role include many different aspects Mechanical and structural design of company products and systems for power generation and similar industrial projects worldwide, Provision of technical support, projects, manufacturing and customer service departments and reviewing of client specifications, clearly identifying technical, engineering and commercial requirements .
You should be educated to degree level in either structural or mechanical engineering, experience in wind, seismic, transportation and operational load derivations and design calculations. Experience of 3D structural analysis and AutoCAD software packages (pressure systems analysis experience also would be advantageous).
The ideal candidate would be a team player, but able to work unsupervised in a pressurized environment
