Broad based Supply Chain role with responsibility for a team of buyers and support staff. This is a management role but you will need to lead by example.

Part of a large worldwide development and manufacturing organisation, this company is going through the process of new product development taking a market leading design and improving and diversifying a new generation of end product, in addition there is large investment into current production and process systems, in short, the company is driving forwards.
The Person
You will be a focused and "Hand ON" Manager, this is not a position for someone who wants to just be "the boss" ...this is a "doing" role!
You will have worked for an engineering / manufacturing type company (preferably electronics based / electromechanical) and will have been single minded in the evaluation and action required to make the supply -chain, materials and logistics run as smoothly as possible.
You will review current supplier, address contractual obligations, review material schedules and goods in / warehouse and all the areas required to deliver the best quality materials / product to the required department on time and for the best price.
You will have annual spend of £8m p.a, you will be CIPS / MIPS qualified and be honest and hard working
