Continuous Improvement Technician
£25-30K per annum
We are currently recruiting for a high-class manufacturer of reputable branded goods, based here in Nottingham. They are a key player within the FMCG and pharmaceutical sector with a strong focus towards lean manufacturing and continuous improvements.
We are looking for maintenance technicians with a manufacturing and process improvement background who can lead and motivate a production team within a high-speed packaging environment, with responsibility to deliver and perform to specific production output, quality and H&S targets.
The role is very much production driven and requires individuals with self-motivation, drive and enthusiasm. Applicants need to be team players who are both willing and comfortable with production tasks as well as PPM and breakdown maintenance tasks, undertaking production duties, whilst maintaining an engineering overview of the line
Continuous improvement is a key objective of this new role and any previous experience or evidence of machinery upgrade or improvements would be most advantageous.
The candidate will be achievement focussed and able to work in a direct and often pressurised environment. Entrepreneurial skills in terms of innovation and problem solving are key along with tenacity, tough-mindedness and ability to influence and demonstrate strong team working abilities and commitment
