Manufacturing Quality Engineer - Cambridgeshire
To implement and promote a robust Process Engineering Support function into manufacturing within the business. Through the use of fundamental manufacturing engineering principles, demonstrate the benefits of controlled systems in support of existing processes and the introduction of new processes into manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
To manage all QA concerns and to drive the process of resolving all concerns in a timely manner.
To ensure the system of allocating responsibility for various corrective actions is maintained at all times and supported by a pro-active follow-up system that ensures all appropriate actions are completed by due dates.
Health & Safety:
Ensure the requirements of the Company Health & Safety Policy are achieved and that the requirements of appropriate statutory legislation are maintained.
To manage the health and safety budget and report monthly on actual VS budget to the Engineering Manager
Manufacturing Engineering:
To generate, review, update and maintain manufacturing process procedures/work instructions. Implement instructions into the relevant production line areas and ensure compliance of the line personnel actions with the instructions. Introduce a controlled change process to procedure implementation/updates and educate personnel to the benefits of change under control.
