THE ROLE - You will lead, develop and influence the site operations team to deliver the optimal contribution and achievement of the factory strategic plan and vision, ensuring that outputs meet required standards of quality, service and cost at this key site.

THE COMPANY - A leading soft drinks business that prides itself on its brands and how it develops its people.

RESPONSIBILITIES - You will contribute to the development of the factory vision and the strategic plan to support their achievement. This will involve leading and developing the operations team driving a culture of strong performance management and maintaining clear development and robust succession planning practices to ensure that employees (c.150) realise their own potential and achieve business objective. Delivering business results by effective utilisation of operational resources will be critical, so you will need to plan and control the site operations budget to deliver the optimum in cost effective results. You will identify and action opportunities for improvements within the site to support the development of a continuous improvement culture. Ensuring everyone on site complies to company policies and statutory regulations for safety, health and welfare to provide a safe working environment for the team is key.

KEY SKILLS - Demonstrated leadership and people management, a proven experience managing a high speed manufacturing operation (preferrablt FMCG food or drink), a sound knowledge of manufacturing and HSE process/legislation and a working knowledge and track record of continuous improvement (such as lean and 5S).
