Manufacturing Engineer (Electronics) for this a global supplier to the civil & defence aerospace markets to plan and co-ordinate the activities of Electronic Manufacturing on PIM projects.

Manufacturing Engineer (Electronics) for this a global supplier to the civil & defence aerospace markets to plan and co-ordinate the activities of Electronic Manufacturing on PIM projects.
Oversee the introduction of new products into the manufacturing environment. Plan the execution of manufacturing introduction from design release to production acceptance (NPI). To manage the supply of pre-production assemblies to the design & approvals teams. Prepare tooling budgets for new projects. Ensure compliance with both time scales and budget commitments. Work with manufacturing team to ensure successful launch. Analysis of new designs to ensure DFM & DFA criteria is met. Write process FMEA. Have a full working knowledge of all electronic manufacturing & test techniques. To understand the lifecycle of electronic and mechanical components, their sources and lead-times. Challenge conventions in order to ensure continuous improvements. At the design concept phase give manufacturing technical input. To carry out production readiness for Electronic Hardware.
You will be educated to HNC / Degree level with proven experience in electronic manufacturing engineering. A thorough understanding of electronic products, operations and functions. An ability to produce concise reports and effective presentations. A knowledge of manufacturing - SMT & box build. Knowledge of electronic manufacturing philosophies i.e. Design for manufacture I assembly techniques.
Ablility to commuincate at all levels. An understanding of the major manufacturing control and information systems is essential. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary, excellent bens and bonus.
