Description
Job Purpose:
To design and develop production processes to improve quality and productivity in specific production areas of the facility, managing the implementation of new technologies and equipment. To provide manufacturing solutions for existing product and NPI programme, participating in the transfer from concept design to completed product. To provide technical assistance to Operations Management.

Job Description:
Some of the responsibilities of this role are as follows:
Addressing H&S issues
MQ12005 team involvement
Identify and implement in-process validation solutions
Supporting APQP / DFMA Process / 6 Sigma / Team Centre / CPPD team
Generating manufacturing bills of materials and standard work documentation
Supporting CPS Projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Identification and provision of equipment / facilities required by Operations
Identify and implement productivity improvements
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE
Good communication skills in order to fully understand customer requirements, build strong relationships and gain acceptance to change. Experience in the use of a wide variety of Engineering analysis tools including problem solving, process flow analysis and 5S. They will need to be self-starting and equally capable of leading or being part of a multi-discipline team and should preferably have a Manufacturing related degree.
