Position Description:
He/She will work within a carline team on the St Petersburg plant rearrangement project. Development of in-plant material flow in line with Company Productions System and Synchronous Material Flow principals.
Work with suppliers to implement part packaging and in-plant material handling facilities to support the project.
Establish space requirements for product and capacity actions and development of building or other containment plans.
Co-ordinate cost studies for MH&PE effects on the introduction of new models into St Petersburg plant.
Liase with other manufacturing areas including Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Business Office, Facility Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, Global Logistics and the plants.
Skills Required:
Good project management, communication and program planning skills.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Be confident to communicate and work with personnel from suppliers, the plant and other departments to ensure smooth implementation of the project.
Good working knowledge of all Windows based applications primarily EXCEL, Outlook and Access. Be able to work effectively, with limited supervision, using own initiative / knowledge.
Be able to decide when to escalate problems in order that solutions are found in a timely manner. Be flexible to allow travel to St Petersburg on a regular basis, perhaps at short notice.

Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
Additional Information:
The job will have a requirement for regular travel to St Petersburg.
Normal working hours will be 37.5 hours per week plus travel and overtime during a plant trip.
