Description

Manufacturing Engineer position within a worldwide manufacturer of precision machined components for the medical industry. Requires a good understanding of manufacturing engineering theory, practical experience of applying this knowledge and a familiarity with CNC machining processes.

Salary & Location: £26,000 - £28,000 + excellent holiday + pension.
Bristol, Swindon, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset, South Wales

The Role: The role is product orientated and will focus on creating and implementing manufacturing processes for new products and improving the efficiency of existing processes. This will involve developing the initial concept, creating Process Specification and Engineering Controlled Documents as well as constructing the required CNC programs for a variety of machining techniques including turning, milling, grinding and honing. In addition there will be a reactive element to the role - problem solving when unexpected production difficulties occur.

With a worldwide presence, the company have been growing 20% year on year for the last decade. Specialising in providing existing technologies and developing new precision machined components to customer specifications, the British sites currently have a remit to increase capacity and efficiency.
