Role Description:
Manufacturing engineering role in the electronic assembly industry. Duties will include Design for Manufacture and Assembly, New Product Introduction activities, Selection / Improvement of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly processes, Development, programming, maintenance and improvement of SMT processes, Optimisation of setup/programs to improve equipment effectiveness, Analysis of yield of SMT processes to ensure process capabilities and throughput, Analysis of SMT defects to determine likely failure modes, Design/Development of new tooling for new /existing processes
Required Experience:
Manufacturing engineering experience within electronics industry, Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques such as poka-yoke, Kaizen, PFMEA, etc.
