Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen within this leading global supplier of technical products into a number of industries including automotive and aerospace, for a manufacturing engineer to be based out of its operation on the leicestershire/Northamptonshire border.
THE ROLE
Working closely with the engineering manager, you will be responsible for implementing a number of new manufacturing methods within a fast paced engineering environment. You will also get involved in a number of efficiency improvements across the shopfloor including production and process improvements using lean tools and techniques.
THE CANDIDATE
Ideally you will be looking for your next move into a role where you will be given the autonomy to make decisions and use some of the skills you have developed. Ideally from a manufacturing, engineering or production based environment it is important that you have some experience of making improvements as well as working within a shopfloor environment. However the most important attribute that you posses is the ability to learn as our client is a leader in the development of its engineers providing excellent training.
