Our market leader in the Steel Industry is looking for an experienced Project Manager to head up one of their Project Engineering teams.
The key performance areas for role are:
Management of project engineering and design carried out by Consultants for Pre- & Feasibility Studies and Project Implementation
Management of on site engineering work
Input into maintenance approach on site
Input into preparation and evaluation of Contracts
Input into Cost Control of estimates and for Implementation
Input into project schedules and site controls
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
BSc Eng - Mechanical (Electrical an option).
Extensive experience in project, engineering, design and maintenance functions with extensive exposure at a project management level.
Sound knowledge of project management, as well as excellent understanding of project engineering and design requirements for mining infrastructure, rail, ports and/or process plants.
Sound knowledge of management of Engineering & design contracts and preparation of capital estimates.
Involved in site construction of projects.
Involved in preparation of scopes of work, safety aspects, specifications, schedules, etc. for project contracts.
Knowledge of contract negotiations.
