We currently have a Maintenance Technician vacancy for our London based rail Client. This is an excellent opportunity for Technical and Electrical Engineers to gain experience working to develop and maintain HV, LV and DC traction power electrical distribution systems.

Job Purpose
"Assist the Operations & Maintenance Team in meeting maintenance targets on time and within budget.
"Assist the Project Teams during construction and commissioning phases to enable delivery on time and in budget.
"Assist the Operations & Maintenance team in maintaining the very best in client relationships.
Job Dimensions
"Maintenance of the 11KV, 415V and 750V DC Traction Power Distribution System.
"Technical qualification (ONC in electrical power engineering or City & Guilds part 232)
"Basic testing of HV and LV protective devices.
"Experience in the use of IT systems inc MS Word.
"Self motivated and able to work with the minimum of supervision.
"Experience of working in close proximity of clients.
Engineering
"Competent to carry out planned substation inspections.
"Conversant with Manufacturers maintenance regimes.
"Competent to supervise contractors.
"Competent in basic workshop skills

Nature & Scope

"Maintain and grow relationships with the client.
"Attend and contribute to team briefings, meetings and committees as required.
