Description
Our client are seeking a Maintenance Manager to run a team responsible for all non production maintenance at a manufacturing site in Hampshire. The client are involved in manufacturing products for the Defence Industry.
This role is not related to production maintenance. You will be responsible for the general maintenance of the site and buildings including all mechanical and electrical services.

This role is not related to production maintenance. You will be responsible for the general maintenance of the site and buildings including all mechanical and electrical services.
Responsibilities include:
Acting as line manager to develop the maintenance team.
Control and oversight of all planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
Act as company liaison with contractors and suppliers in obtaining quotes and ensuring works are carried out correctly.
Development of a preferred contractors/suppliers list and ongoing review.
Create and implement a specification for all services and contracts on site.
Create and instigate a waste management program for the maintenance department.
Create and implement an energy conservation program site wide.
Develop and improve the current health and safety strategy for the maintenance department and contractors working on site.
