Description
This leading UK based manufacturing group is currently looking for two multi skilled maintenance engineers to join its growing engineering team. Based on the Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire border our client is looking to grow its business heavily throughout 2008.
THE ROLE
There are two positions, one covering days and one covering nights available for the successful applicants within this leading automated machining environment. You will be responsible for the hands on electro mechanical maintenance of a varied amount of machinery used for the production of injection moulded and plastic extruded products. You will also get involved in maintenance projects such as installations and process improvements.
THE PERSON
Ideally you will have an electrical or mechanical qualification to City and Guilds or ONC type level, however general maintenance experience is far more important. It is also important that you can work both on your own and within a team environment on a daily basis.
This role offers ongoing technical training on new machinery as well the opportunity to receive training on PLCs and CNC machinery. Excellent benefits and annual pay awards will reward the successful candidates.
