This major food manufacturer has just invested £6 million in new production machinery for this site as business is booming. They have grown in strength over the last 5 years and are now a well known name in their industry.

This major food manufacturer has just invested £6 million in new production machinery for this site as business is booming. They have grown in strength over the last 5 years and are now a well known name in their industry.

Due to this success they are now recruiting for an electrical maintenance engineer, working a continental shift pattern (4 on 4 off 12 hour days and nights rotating). You will be responsible for all the machinery on site (packaging, conveyors, Palletisers, weighing mixing and blending) responding quickly and efficiently to any breakdowns and assisting your team in fault finding of PLC controlled machinery and drive systems.

Experience of PLC control systems and food manufacturing would be advantageous as would a qualification in electrical engineering.

In return the company offers a salary of £28,500 plus stake holder pension, paid over time and a good training programme.
