Maintenance Engineer
Our client is a leading provider of chilled foods. They have manufacturing sites spread across the UK and Europe as well as supplying to these areas.
Our client is looking for HND/ HNC/ time served electrical bias multi skilled engineer to work as part of their Engineering team in their fast paced food production site.
The key responsibilities of the role will be the maintenance of all site equipment, making sure all breakdowns are repaired in a timely efficient manner, completing all PPM work and working with various PLC's.
The type of machinery you will be working on will be small robotic equipment, cutting, weighing and packaging machines as well as various other types of equipment.
The role is looking to pay up to £26500k with various other benefits and will be working on the company's 2 shift rotation system. Due to the size and future plans of the company there could be good opportunities for progression to more senior roles in the future.
You will be good strong electrical bias engineer with good mechanical skills and have experience of working with PLC's especially Siemens.
Ideally, they are looking for someone who can faultfind PLC's with experience of using laptops. You should also have strong experience of using invertor drive systems.
You will be a good team player and ideally come from a food or similar background, although this is not essential.
