Job Title: Service Engineer - Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey.

Salary & Location: £17,000-£22,000.

Role Description: The Service Engineer will be site based and will be involved in the service, maintenance and fault finding of industrial washing machines. The equipment is electro-mechanical and involves electro-mechanical fault finding, electronic board swaps, 3 phase electrics, electrical installation and wiring so an understanding of the use of these would be advantageous.

Required Experience: The field service engineer will need to have experience in fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems related with capital equipment. An engineering qualification is not essential however the successful candidate will need to demonstrate sound fault finding ability on both electrical and mechanical systems.
This opportunity is not only open to those from within the industrial washing machines industry but the experience would be advantageous.

Benefits Package:

£28,000 earning potential. Site Based. Monday to Friday, 20 days holiday.

Our client is a well established manufacturer of industrial washing machines. The UK division employs over a hundred staff that sell and service the equipment nationwide. Due to new long term contracts being awarded they require a service engineer to start as soon as possible. You will provided with all tools and training.
The role of the Service Engineer will be to service and breakdown repairs on complex industrial washing systems. Based on site the work will be repairing pneumatics, hydraulics, single and 3 phase electrics with PLC integrated controls. Occasionally you will work in teams to carry out major installations.
