Description
We are looking to recruit an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient utilisation of all electrical equipment across a range of plant and equipment within a busy manufacturing environment. You will be part of a team as tasked with the PPM and reactive maintenance throughout the plant.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the successful candidate for this exceptional opportunity will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient utilisation of all electrical equipment across a range of plant and equipment within a busy manufacturing environment.
Working as part of a team as well as autonomously, you will be tasked with undertaking both proactive PPM and reactive maintenance throughout the plant, modifying and improving procedures where appropriate.
Additionally you will ensure that all associated documentation is maintained, equipment
failures are identified and reported upon, procedures and programmes are modified and
continuously improved where appropriate as well as installing and commissioning new
equipment and services when required.
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity offering genuine scope to progress, the successful candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate the successful completion of an Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship and the ability to fault find, modify and debug a range of PLC controlled (Allen Bradley, Siemens S5 & S7) equipment within a busy manufacturing environment.
