Our client is the brand leader in fast moving consumer goods industry and employs over 750 staff in the UK and produces over 2.5 million products per week. Due to there growth and success an opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
The maintenance Engineer is to provide both PPM and breakdown cover for all Bakery equipment, site services and plant facilities to minimise disruption to the Bakery operations. The Maintenance Engineer will also improve performance and mean time between failures of equipment through continuous improvement activity. Ensure compliance to Health & safety of Bakery staff and contractors to ensure a safe working environment. The Maintenance Engineer will provide detailed information on shift performance and engineering activity through reporting mechanisms. Work to agreed departmental standards.
Candidates applying for this role would have ideally worked as Multi Skilled Engineer / Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer, in mechanical and electrical markets. The chosen Maintenance Engineer will have NVQ level 3 award in mechanical or Electrical Engineering. A Formal recognised apprenticeship with multi skilled focus. The Maintenance Engineer must have experience with PLC knowledge Allen Bradley and 17th Edition Electricity at work regulations.
