Description
Immediate contract with large manufacturing plant in Nottingham.
Mechanically biased maintenance engineer required to work on high-speed production and packaging lines. Carrying out PPM and breakdown maintenance, fault-find and rectification with minimum disruption to production. The majority of breakdowns are mechanical but a good appreciation of electrical faults would be beneficial.
1. Mechanical Apprenticeship Essential
2. Maintenance of packaging machinery, ideally within a continuous environment
3. Mechanical fault-finding & diagnostic skills
4. Teamwork and good communication skills with production staff
5. Electrical appreciation
Production runs over 3 shifts and they currently have 2 opportunities; 1 x double days & 1 x Regular Nights. Initially a temporary contract but could lead to a permanent position.
