JOB SCOPE
Carry out effective and speedy equipment repairs and maintenance with minimal operating loss to the factory. Effect use of engineering materials stock
JOB PURPOSE
Carry out pro active routine and breakdown maintenance repair work on all plant and equipment at the site. Complete written reports on maintenance work carried out and identify future work. Plan and implement improvement ideas to increase the reliability and serviceability of the equipment. Abide by all company rules included Safety, GMP and food handling hygiene standards,
Structure
Within the engineering department we have a team on engineers dedicated to proactive routine maintenance. This team of engineers work a dayshift shift pattern covering 6 from 7 days every week. The operation carries out much of its routine maintenance on Friday and Saturday and as such the roster is tailored to service these needs. This team is responsible to the Engineering Planner who is then responsible to the Engineering manager. The core responsibility of each member of the team is to provide production with technical back-up to ensure the smooth operation of the process to satisfy customer needs.
