Experienced Maintenance Engineer required
Maintenance Engineer
Continental Shift Pattern (rotating days 8am - 8pm & nights 8pm - 8am, 42 hours per week)
Leicester
Salary:£23k - £26k
Principal Accountabilities
1.To ensure that all servicing and repairs are carried out in accordance with Company Procedures
2.To carry out breakdown repairs quickly and efficiently
3.To ensure that all planned preventative maintenance is carried out in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.
4.To follow health and safety legislations at all times
5.To complete all necessary documentation that is required to maintain stock levels and engineering records.
6.To participate in all ongoing training programmes (on-site and off-site)
7.To provide guidance and assistance to apprentices
Person Specification
Experience & Core Skills
1.Must have gained engineering skills in electrical, mechanical or multiskilled
2.Must hold a formal engineering qualification minimum City & Guilds pt2 or NVQ level 3
3.Fault finding both electrical and mechanical
4.Diagnose circuit drawings
5.Able to work under own supervision
6.Work to time basis
7.Must have a flexible approach to working patterns
8.Must demonstrate good hygiene practices
9.Be forward thinking
10.Must have a progressive attitude towards training
11.Carry out the duty to apply all Walkers Midshire Foods Health & Safety Policies or associated documentation and fulfil the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act.
