My client, with sales of more than $5bn last year alone, employs more than 20,000 people across the world, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, is seeking to recruit an electrically biased engineer to compliment their existing team of maintenance professionals.

My client, with sales of more than $5bn last year alone, employs more than 20,000 people across the world, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, is seeking to recruit an electrically biased engineer to compliment their existing team of maintenance professionals.

Working a 3 shift system (including weekends, 7 on 2 off, 7 on, 3 off days afternoons and nights), each shift includes 1 Maintenance Supervisor and a team of 5 Maintenance Operators. You will be responsible for ensuring a minimum amount of production downtime whilst working to PPM schedules as well as breakdown requirements. You will respond quickly and effectively to all faults on both electrical and mechanical machinery.

Experience of working on PLC control systems and drives would be advantageous as would a multi-skilled bias with qualifications in electrical engineering.

In return the company offers a salary of up to £26,600 including Shift Allowance, 25 days holiday and bonus.
