Electrical Maintenance Technician - Leeds
Salary and Location
£27k rising through training. Role based in Leeds
An outstanding opportunity for talented maintenance electricians to join a leading railway business, who will provide them the perfect vehicle within which they can progress their careers.
Role Description
You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance of rolling stock for one of the largest Train Operating Companies in the UK. Maintenance activities can be broken down into routine electrical and mechanical service checks to ensure train safety, through to complex fault diagnosis and major overhaul. The maintenance technicians role is the route to supervisory and higher management roles within this organisation.
Required Experience
With good electrical maintenance experience gained within the forces, manufacturing or plant machinery environment you will be keen to transfer into a new sector where full product training will be given to develop industry competence. Qualified to ONC, NVQ III or apprentice trained, you will be a team player and flexible to work shifts as required.
