Our client requires 2 maintenance electricians to work on their secure MOD facility in Aldermaston and Burghfield. The successful candidates will have commercial or industrial electrical maintenance experience and be able to pass UK security clearance.
Principle Accountability's:
To provide general electrical maintenance support on all buildings and plant as part of a multi-disciplined team. This will entail carrying out planned preventative maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of plant, equipment and industrial service supplies including:
> Lighting systems across site
> Electrical inspection and testing
> Electrical motor diagnostics
> Switchgear and electrical distribution systems
Qualifications and Experience:
> The ideal candidate will have the 16th edition electrical C&G certificate or be willing to complete the course.
> Qualified to C&G 2630.
> Have or be working towards obtaining C&G 2391 inspection and test of electrical installations would be an advantage.
> Be able to demonstrate experience in a building service environment.
> Articulate, numerate and IT literate.
> Understanding of legislative compliance and contract law preferred.
