Machining Technician
Our Client is seeking a candidate with the following experience:
Essential:
Centre lathe and Milling programming/operation.
Desirable:-
Tool Maker
Cutting of material into correct size billets
Hole Tapping and Helicoil fitting
Centre lathe and/or Milling machine operation
Operation of Band saws and Guillotine
Programming and Operation of Centre lathes and/or Milling machines
Programming / Operation of Enclosed CNC Lathe and/or Enclosed CNC 3 axis Milling station
Desirable:-
Programming / Operation of all Centre lathe and Milling equipment
Sheet metal forming
The successful candidate will have the following abilities:

Flexible: - Prepared to work extended hours and shift at minimum notice.
Could also include work Away from home site both in the UK and Europe.
Required Qualification level
City & Guilds or equivalent NVQ
Experience Requirement
Experience working in Aerospace environment using aerospace approved methods to very tight tolerances
Fully conversant with Health & Safety and COSHH
Familiar with Environmental controls and guidelines

Essential Requirements
Must be able to operate either Centre lathe or Milling equipment
Must be able to Program and Operate either
Centre lathe or Milling equipment and enclosed CNC Centre lathe or milling work centres
Desirable Requirements
Fully trained and able to program and operate Spark erosion equipment.
Fully Trained and Qualified on Grinding wheels.
Familiar with CATIA
Familiar with IOSH (Environmental awareness)
Successful candidates will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.
